Learn the Basics: Strength Training & Powerlifting

Course Content

–Barbell Squat, Bench Press, & Deadlift, Overhead Press, Chin ups

–Warm up/cool down routines

–Breathing/bracing techniques

 

Course

-Twice a week for 8 weeks

 

No experience is necessary to begin your strength journey. Whether you are looking to compete in your first powerlifting meet or just looking to get stronger, this small group class is for you. Learn the Basic: Strength Training course allows for individualized attention and is the most cost-effective way to receive consistent coaching for your lifting. Every lifter will receive personal attention on every lift. On completion, each lifter will get the chance to test their strength and receive an individualized programme tailored to them. 

 

 

The class is capped at 6 people.

 

What to bring:

-pants or shorts that don’t limit range of motion

-cotton t-shirt

-flat shoes or weightlifting shoes
